"In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." -Albert Schweitzer
The next time you are out and about, if you happen to overhear an interesting conversation, don’t be afraid to join in. L and I were out to dinner the other night, overheard the couple next to us talking about Santa Ynez wines, and we struck up a conversation with them. There is now a very real possibility that I might be able to make one of my MONDO BEYONDO dreams come true, all because of this chance encounter. More on that later, but in the meantime, enjoy these "Vignettes of a life well spent".
