Weallwant

I had so many thoughts swirling around in my brain today as I hauled over three carloads of our belongings to the new house, and now that I’m ready to write my mind is blank.  Tonight will be our first night in the new house, and we’re celebrating by having friends and family over for dinner.  There is still much to do, but at this exact moment I am simply enjoying the fact that we have found our dream home and now we get to fill it with memories.  I am worn out, and I imagine I will continue feeling this way at the end of each day for the next many weeks.  But beyond all the boxes, the exhaustion, the receipts and appointments, I am feeling one thing above all else:  gratitude.

  3. It’s always a little exhausting to fill a new home with your own energies.
I’m happy that you made it through the hardest part. Now comes the fun of decorating the new place. Whoohoo!

Congratulations on the new place. Place is so very important to who we are — to the level we are able to “be”.
    Really like your site.
Stop by and visit mine sometime.
    –and so it goes–
