"Floating" :: 30" x 30" Oil paint, oil pastel & other media on canvas
The piece here has been shipped to the organizers of an upcoming group show I am participating in entitled Re:Mission, which is an art event and auction that will benefit children with cancer at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Proceeds from the event will go towards an art book of all donated work to be distributed to the kids as CHLA as well CHLA’s Art Programs. The show will be Saturday, June 2, 2007 at ThinkSpace Gallery, and it sure to be an exciting, inspiring event.
In the meantime, we are still trying to raise additional donations to cover the expenses of the art books. The more donations, the more books that can be produced for more kids at CHLA to enjoy! There is a PayPal link on the Re:Mission homepage, and remember that no donation is too small. If 500 people donate $10 each, that covers the intial costs, so please spread the word!
