At my neighborhood Whole Foods, when I see someone talking on their cell phone, I want to stand right beside then and pretend to talk on my cell phone REALLY LOUDLY. “What?! No, I’m at the grocery store! Oh, can you hear me now?! Do you want dijon mustard or plain?!…”
I know this is passive aggressive. But it would be oh-so-satisfying.
BTW – my family couldn’t afford roller skates, so when I went to the rink I rented the dingy, beat up rental skates – AND PUT MY OWN PINK FROSTED POM POMS ON THEM!

oh my gosh…this cracks me up. we had the skate corral – i wasnt the best skater, but with the banana comb in my back pocket, bonnie bell on my lips and my hankerchief top….life was good. and i was sure when i clicked on the if i could go anywhere link, that a picture of my house was going to pop up! damn it…teehee.
and yes, sushipot rocks!

I’m with you on the TV – I haven’t had a TV in my home for seven years (excepting guesthouses where I had no choice). I love DVDs and watch TV series that I really like (The West Wing, Buffy, Six Feet Under) on DVD on my laptop during long evenings here in Afghanistan). The only time I ever owned a microwave was when they were new, about 15 years ago. Less technology is generally my preference, with the exception of computers and internet connection which I couldn’t live without.

No TV for 5 years, I am almost jealous! Not possible in our house, my husband needs his on-screen news, car/bike and aviation history fixes. At least it means that when we watch a movie we do so in cinema style because our TV is so big.
And I am totally with you on the dentist, I get anxiety attacks before every appointment and have been known to cancel them last minute, which means that it took almost a year to finish treatments that could have been completed in three months.
And now I really should do my list, I was tagged a few weeks ago and yours just reminded me

…i remember drinking suicides too…
…and no microwave. if i didn’t have a microwave i’d starve seeing as how pretty much everything i eat is raw or microwavable…as you can tell i’m not all that into cooking…
