Oh, Yosemite. Almost virtually at the southern entrance (or exit, if you will) of Yosemite Nat’l. Park is Mariposa Grove…home of the BIG trees, which you are likely already aware of. Don’t miss. Also, spend time in Wawona. Everyone heads for the Valley (of course), but these 2 that I mention are less traveled and no less impressive.

There’s a very good reason why English countryside is so lush – it’s called RAIN! That said, catch us on a sunny day and it will be up there among the most beautiful places in the world, but maybe I’m just biased as an English lass! My friend went to Yosemite a while ago and I was blown away by the beauty. It definitely goes on my list of places to one day visit.
My copy of Ordinary Sparkling Moments arrived today after a long wait while it flew over the Atlantic. Can’t wait to settle down in a comfy chair with a cup of hot chocolate and a good read!

Yes! Last year my hiking trips in Yosemite and Big Sur were amongst the happiest, and most grounded, moments of my year. I’m so glad that you are going to Yosemite!
