christine,

i felt something serious coming on last week -- sore throat, achey and low energy. a friend recommended "yin chiao". went out that night to get some at whole foods. took it for a couple days, and nipped that sickness in the bud. totally fine.

just wanted to pass it along for the next time ... if there is a next time!

hope you're up and at 'em soon.

Yuck. Being sick sucks, even if it's "just" a cold. I'm the same way--mysterious illnesses requiring specialists and scary (fortunately mis-) diagnoses, yes, but colds and flus, not really. That's why it really kicks your butt when you actually get one! I hope you are feeling better... NOW! The days--and nights, especially--feel oh so long when you're ill.
Another Tilda tip (courtesy of my friend who used to have a Golden Retriever and her two VERY RAMBUNCTIOUS puppies): take a clean Kong (I'm sure you have one), tuck some little treats inside, seal them inside with a plug of peanut butter and throw it in the freezer to set. It won't take Tilda long to lick away the frozen PB to get the treats, but it'll buy you 10-20 minutes and sometimes that may be all you need to maintain your sanity (or chase down another box of tissues). Feel BETTER!

I have experience with this. I also never get sick. I do, however, get throat crud that coincides either with an allergy when something blooms in March, or with the week we turn on the heat. It is unbelievably miserable to get rid of.

The only thing that has worked for me is acupuncture (for the allergy and the throat discomfort) and a humidifier in the bedroom whenever the heat is on.

Good luck!

Feel well soon! Like you, I never get sick either. Really. Nor do my kids. We are fortunate that way I guess.
So I guess you saved up all your sick time for one big blow out!!! Get well soon. xoxo

sending healthy vibes your way. get an empty pop bottle and stick some treats in it and watch how much fun it is and how long it occupies time. not for you! for tilda! ha! take care! tea and honey - in buckets always seems to help me...ciao!
