I love, love, love the Gypsy Girl’s Guide story! The travel bug bites us all in so many different ways. It bit me as a very young child when watching a show called ‘Nature Walkabout’ on TV in Australia. The show started with footage of a place called ‘Wave Rock’ near Hyden in Western Australia. I sat as a very young child thinking I will go there one day and I will travel the world. I finally got there some 40 years later, and it met every one of those youthful expectations.
In the meantime I have travelled extensively in Australia and to many other places in the world. Now I am living in London and travelling regularly to many wonderful places. I am always amazed by the sights I see and profoundly grateful for the new things I am able to experience and can’t get enough of it. In the words of a wonderful Aussie musician Paul Kelly, ‘from little things big things grow!’
Take me with you!!!!
Have the best time. What an enjoyable read, thank you. I’m constantly inspired by what inspires you. Funny that!
