i was so inspired by your mannequin piece a bit of time back (last year? two years ago?) that i went on the hunt for one. got a beat up gold mannequin. i’ve carted it around through two, no! three studio incarnations. my favorite resting place was in the front window. it felt so rebellious, lascivious even (how often do i get to use THAT word?) to let her headless, mottled gold torso speak to the wandering by world. i keep thinking “one day” she’ll become an art piece. and, perhaps, “one day” she will. thanks for all the ways you inspire & support me and make me think.
