Tradition

I did an impromptu project last year that turned out to be quite beautiful. The idea was simple ~ creating a series of small cards with watercolored edges and “You are…” messages handwritten in ink. I offered them to anyone who requested them, and I still receive notes and emails about the impact they had.
So I’ve decided to turn it into an annual Thanksgiving tradition, in honor and celebration of the endless array of blessings in my life, one of which is the extraordinary circle of support, joy, and friendship I have been able to create and enjoy through my work and this blog in particular.
If you need a tiny reminder of the gift that you are, simply send your snail mail address to me at christine@swirlygirl.com and I will get all the cards ready to mail until they are all gone. I love the idea of sending them all out at once – like a flock of paper butterflies – and have marked my calendar for Monday, November 21st as the release date.
