I think of myself first and foremost as a storyteller, and sometimes I see myself as the village crier. My work is to find, polish, treasure and then share the stories that help us see ourselves in each other, the stories that compel us to take better care of each other. My work, often, is to cry out into the silence - to say what is dying to be said. I use my own voice - as a writer, a speaker and an advocate - and I amplify the voices of other change-makers.
