The Swirly Story

In October 1995, I launched Swirly in a 12' x 12' home office in Santa Barbara, California with a line of 36 greeting cards - all printed and assembled individually - and one card rep. Within two years, more than 50,000 handmade cards had been created and shipped around the country. From there my home office expanded into a multi-line wholesale stationery business with more than 40 reps, 200 individual products, 1200 retail accounts and an 1100 square foot office in downtown Santa Barbara. Both Swirly and Swirly Girl became internationally recognized brands with a comprehensive product line and a gift book translated in three languages. My mission for Swirly was to inspire others to make their dreams real, and I've received countless letters, cards and emails from fans all over the world who have been inspired by the Swirly work, vision and passion.
